Club Operations Manager.

We are pleased that DAN CHESMER has agreed to fulfil the role of "OPERATIONS MANAGER" for Llangwm Rugby Club.

The WRU have developed a protocol and guidance document in response to the impact of Covid 19 on our game, so that community clubs can return to play in a safe environment.

The Club Operations Manager is the nominated representative for each WRU member club in managing and overseeing the return to play within their club.

Each Club should also identify and appoint one or more Operational Leads, to be responsible for implementing the guidance in this document (and all other relevant guidance, advice and instruction regarding COVID-19) in respect of certain discrete elements, such as particular training facilities, Match day venues and team travel.

The Club Operations Manager will be responsible for: •

Developing a network of Operational Leads within the club who will be managing the Community Guidelines and Recommended Operating Procedures for individual squads. •

Disseminating all up to date and relevant information on COVID-19 and the return to play to the relevant individuals within the Club. •

Implementing the guidance in the return to play protocol – Community Guidelines and Recommended Operating Procedures (and all other relevant guidance, advice and instruction regarding COVID-19) on behalf of the Club. •

Notifying other Clubs and the Welsh Rugby Union that he/she is the Club Operations Manager (and the identity of the relevant Operational Leads) for the relevant Club.
