Well that was a win!!! Scrappy at times. Arm wrestle at times. Poetry at times. But overall really pleased with the win. The boys and girls on the whole did really well. Still some areas where we need work particularly the break down area. But overall I’m pleased. The first half was a real arm wrestle and the boys and girls dug in against a much improved St David’s side. It is these tight games where the boys and girls really show their mettle and over all the stuck to their guns and dug deep to stay ahead. This is where no guts no glory really takes shape and meaning. Second half I was really pleased to see everyone become more physical and this shocked St David’s and they were able to score 4 unanswered tries. Nothing like a good half time rollicking to get the mind focused. Great stuff. Some really pleasing performances from all the team and it was brilliant to see our newbies get stuck in. Still plenty of work to do. But we are moving forward in the right direction. Well done to all who played today. See you Wednesday.
