We welcomed a strong and powerful team from Vardre on Saturday. The game got off to a fast and furious start with a penalty awarded to us which was kicked to touch. The ball was kept in by a Vardre player but was caught by Charlie who charged on and scored our first try. It was converted by Liam. 
The game carried on at the same quick pace and our defensive structures worked well against a continued attack from the Magpies.
We worked hard and scored another great try from logan young and again converted by Liam bringing our score to 14-0 
From the kick off we failed to clear our lines effectively and the magpies scored a try but failed to convert it making the score 14-5. We regrouped and scored another converted try by Alfie k bringing the score to 21-5. However we once again couldn’t clear of lines and let the magpies back in for another unconverted try. We lead 21-10 at half time.
We regrouped and came out strong in the second half and managed to hold on to our lead but failed to score anymore points but we did concede a further unconverted try leaving the score 21-15 which remained the final score.
Another good win for the wasps.
