The mighty U7s and U8s Wasps played really well again this morning down at rainy Pill Parks. The crowd were treated to a fine display of tag rugby when we welcomed the visiting teams from Fishguard.
The U7s were superb; great to see so many kids turn up today! The rugby keeps on improving, great tagging, defensive play and some great individual runs. First match game and match try for Seren who did really well today, well done! The U8s were equally impressive and it’s great to see them master the game of tag rugby.
Not sure of the final score lines but the mighty U7s Wasps scored 12 tries and the mighty U8s Wasps scored 9 tries with relentless tagging too, which is more important. Great team effort.
U7s: tries from Nico (2), Beca (2), Harry (1), Gethin (2), Dylan (1), Mason (2), Jac (1) and Seren (1). U8s: tries from Aneurin (2), Olly (4), Rudy (1), Mason (1), Sebastian (1) and George (1).
