The young wasps traveled all the way up to Crymych this morning on a glorious day for rugby. We had a combined game of 7s and 8s due to Crymych wanting to kick off both games at the same time and us only having 1 player for u8’s. The young team played 3x15 minutes halves and acquitted themselves really well against a bigger side, there was some great tagging on show and a lot of turnover ball in our favour mixed in with some great individual runs and tries. Unfortunately we conceded two late tries to go down 11-12 but I was really proud of everyone today, George scored 3 great tries and as did Sebastian who made a big difference when he came on, also on the score sheet were mason, Dylan, Harry, jack and Nico so to see so many individuals scoring showed great support play aswell. But the tagging from Llangwm was brilliant today and that defensive line is better each week and the effort from everyone is second to none. Again the coaches from Crymych commented on what a good young side they are and how they will be a serious team next year!
A special mention for rowan who played his first game today and acquitted himself brilliantly ?
