The mighty U8s Wasps were really impressive again this morning away at sunny Whitland, where we played a round-robin against them and Haverfordwest. Unfortunately we had only two U8s players turn up, Ethan James and Sebastian, and many thanks to the U7s for helping out. The first game against H’west was a tight contest which we narrowly lost. Great tries form Jac (2), Harry (2) and Sebastian (2). Lot of tagging by everyone forcing several turnover balls. The second game against Whitland was again a tight contest with more tries from Sebastian (3) and Harry (2) who were both unstoppable on the left wing. Great team effort today and thanks to the U7s for helping out. U8s, we are struggling for numbers so ask your friends at school if they would like to try rugby and join the Mighty Wasps. Doesn’t matter if they haven’t played before. No training this Wednesday because of half-term and we’re scheduled to play Tenby at home next Sunday. Enjoy your break everyone!
