The mighty U8s Wasps lost narrowly against the visiting Saints in muddy Llangwm this morning. Due to ½ term holidays, we only had 6 players turn out so we borrowed the twins from St Davids.
The team got off to a slow start and the Saints were 3 -0 up after only 2 minutes. Libby and Harry reacted well and went over with tries. The team tagged well and forced an impressive turnover ball before the half time whistle and the score stood at 2-6.
In the second half the team had wok...en up and were blessed with playing down hill. We scored seven impressive tries from Iestyn P, Trystan and George. The Saints, however, remained strong and the game ended 9-12.
Well played everyone – some really good rugby!
