The U12’s and four U11’s entertained Haverfordwest this morning with out doubt one of the strongest teams in the county.
Despite the difficult playing conditions both teams set out to play running rugby.
This side has made enormous strides this season playing much more as a side rather than a collection of individuals. They strung phase after phase together and hit rucks with much more conviction and this enabled us often to win quick ball for our first up runners!
Everyone carried the ball with much more purpose and didn’t lose it in contact. Ball presentation was more secure and by tying in Haverfordwest’s defence enabled us to go wide on occasions.
All 16 players gave everything today and left nothing on the field.
It all bodes well for the rest of the season.
