This morning the U7s headed up to Crymych for a minis festival. It was a really fun way to end off an outstanding first season of rugby for our Wasps. Every player has improved so much over the season. They all give so much to the team and they are all super keen to be involved. I think I can speak on behalf of all coaches when I say we have loved coaching this group and we couldn’t be more proud of each one of them. And a special thank you to Caty for all of the behind the scenes organising she has done this year. 
In terms of today, every player contributed something. Iwan was our standout defender, but I saw some brilliant tags by Nia, Archie, Edward and Reuben. I think everyone contributed at least one tag today. We had 5 6-tag turnovers this morning, with 3 coming in our final game against Narberth. That’s incredible work in a 7 minute game. 
We had some lovely runs and passing by Sophia, Toby and Evan, which set up tries for their team mates. And our try scorers Iolo, Niall, Jacob, Evan, Louie, Iwan and Toby were nearly unstoppable. 
We beat Narberth 4-1 and Pembroke 4-2, drew to Fishguard 3-3 and Tenby 6-6, and just lost to Haverfordwest 5-4. And we only lost that game because we ran out of time. We were matching them try for try but they had one more attack than we did.

While any one of them could have received the award this morning, our Player of the Week went to Archie for being so tireless in defence.
